Services Provided/Benefit to State: |
Enhancement tot he existing Tri-Rail/Amtrak passenger rail station. The development of the Hollywood Boulevard Intermodal Station will create a regional transportation facility that will maximize the utility of the existing passenger rail station. The proposed station will include a parking garage on the east side of Interstate 95 (SR 95) with a Neighborhood Transit Center (Transit HUB) that will serve the commuters, residents, and visitors of Hollywood. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
The development of the Hollywood Intermodal station would create 135 jobs at $13.00 average wage, including fringe benefits; It would also be expected to have an incremental decrease in associated transportation costs from the project's implementation. An incremental decrease in transportation costs from the station are not easily quantified, but the results of the PD&E will allow the City to better quantify these costs. |
