Project Description:
Project provides residential substance abuse treatment for non-Juvenile Justice (committed) clients.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Substance abuse can be a contributor to other significant risk behaviors including violence, delinquency, early sexual involvement and truancy. Reduction of substance abuse is expected to also reduce incidence of these problems.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Youth completing treatment will abstain from substance use for 1 year following treatment.
