Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Development of the planning, engineering and land acquisition activities for the East Palatka Regional Wastewater system. This request is included in the St. Johns River Water Management District-Surface Water Restoration Grant Application for 2000.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

Project will eliminate approximately 1600 septic tanks that are the major source of pollution to private wells and to the St. Johns River, an American Heritage River and a designated SWIM waterbody.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Help to resolve water quality violations and a public health threat and will reduce discharges of pollutants to the St. Johns River.
