Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A new health department facility that, in its entirety, will provide a continuity of services by all service providers to clients.  Existing fragmentation would require clients to travel back and forth between service providers.  Because many programs target lower income families, the two separate locations would create undue transportation hardships.  Also, administrative costs would double for telephone, utilities, clerks and many other areas of expense involved in operating a health care facility.  Duel locations would add additional $20,000 to $30,000 operating expenses with no added benefits for clients.
