Project Description: |

Design and construction of a building that will accomodate approximately 1,000 people for protection from natural disasters complete with restrooms, showers, kitchen and storage areas. This facility would also serve as a community meeting area for educational, general and civic events. The building will be maintained by the Town of Lake Placid. Construction amount $885,000; operational funds $15,000. Local match is undecided at this time, it will either be property or cash. |
