Project Description:
St. Thomas University will videotape the oral histories of Cuban-American residents in Florida to ensure the inclusion of their participation in the history of the state of Florida.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
The oral histories will be made available on side and on the Internet for all residents of the state. Miami-Dade schools will incorporate documentary into their social studies curriculum.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
All Florida public school students will learn of the participation of Cuban-Americans in the history of Florida.
