Project Description:
Bring football and baseball stadium into compliance with ADA requirements and OHSA safety standards. ($450,000 will be used for construction and $50,000 is for operational expenses.)
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Provide a stadium that is easier to access to those who are physically challenged.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Construction will allow access for the diabled to the many community events which are held here: Highlands County Special Olympics; High School Graduation; Youth League athletic progrms; fundraisers for the Future Farmer of America, the 4-H Club of Highlands County; Central Florida Bar-B-Que Festival.
