Project Description:
The Center provides an after school program that serves 55 children in Boca Raton, with a waiting list of over 100. The program is currently operated in a doublewide trailer. To enhance and increase our program, the county has designated within a county park for the center to construct a permanent facility.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
To provide at-risk youth with programs in a safe environment that focuses on increasing academics, family values and social skills.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Ability to offer program to 145 children, increasing to 190 children by 2002.
