Repair and renovate facility. The facilities are deteriorating and require major deferred maintenace to HVAC System, roof, boilers, electrical, plumbing, paint, etc. |

This program has operated at full capacity every year and has saved the State at least $1.8 million per year in operating costs. Is effectively administered through a unique public-private partnership between South Florida Community College and the subcontractor, Tri-County Human Services with oversight by DCF. The program is well administered and serves a statewdie population with its 50-bed capacity. |

Without the proper maintenance, facility closure or substantial damage to patients, program equipment and/or supplies is likely. The State's extensive investment in the facilities and plant is at jeopardy. This renovation of this facility will provide for the contiued service that has saved the state monetarily for so many years. |
