This request is to provide a $500,000 matching grant for the construction of a Visitor Center and parking facility at Fairchild Tropical Garden. |

The renovation project will enable Fairchild Tropical Garden to provide expanded programming and accomodate the increasing number of visitors that visit the garden. FTG is one of the premier tropical botanical gardens in the world offering programs in Horticulture, Research and Education. FTG is a designated participant in the Cultural Institution Program and is accredited by the American Association of Museums. |
