Project Description:
Construction Rehabilitation of an apartment building owned by Bay Point Schools located at 305 S.W. 1st Street, Miami, used for DJJ Aftercare.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Independent living, job training and job placement for 20 juvenile offenders as aftercare for boys exiting Bay Point boarding school who have no home or family.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
80% of juvenile offenders will obtain jobs and maintain a productive life.
