Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Emergency shelter for the homeless.  Includes a Community Policing Sub-station, Day Center and wide spectrum of support services to the homeless.  Each client is required to participate in the Salvation Army's Homeless Intervention Program.  Phase II to provide transitional housing is currently being planned.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

Address the needs of the homelss while providing them with reaources to improved their situation.  Can be used as a Pilot program to assist other communities address the problems of the homeless.

Reduction of number of homeless in the community, people being returned to more productive, more secure status in the community
