Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Provide case management for pediatric Florida residents with end stage liver disease to manage care for pre/post liver transplant. This request is an increase in the amount included in the Governor's Budget in the amount of current year's funding ($400,441).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

Control care to ensure better transplant outcome and prevent re-transplantation and hospital utilization for the increased number of children in the program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Costs for pediatric liver transplantation will be maintained or reduced as a result of less complications, including liver rejections.
