Project Description:
Continued funding for Florida's 28 Statutory Rural Hospitals through the Rural Hospital Trust Fund which was established and funded by the Florida Legislature in 1999.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
This appropriation will continue to provide funds for the acquisition, repair, improvement and upgrading of rural hospital systems, facilities and equipment.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
This appropriation will continue to assist rural hospitals in providing quality healthcare services for more than 1 million Floridians living in rural communities.
