Project Description: |

A pre-employment training program to provide a solution to some of the shortcomings of the transition process for welfare recipients moving from welfare to work. Opportunities Industrialization Centers of South Florida (OIC of South Florida) is a grass roots, not-for-profit community based organization whose mission is to provide prevocational training and job placement programs to economically disadvantaged individuals in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The purpose of this program is to provide training and support services to minorities, females, and disadvantaged persons in order to increase their employment and retention. |
