Project Description:
The Third Judicial Circuit Public Defenders office anticipates moving into the Columbia County Courthouse by October 2000. In the past they have leased furnished office space so they will need to purchase secretarial work stations to accommodate the large open secretarial pool area in the new facility. The cost of the work station is based on state contract pricing: (6) 10x8 workstations @ $5,800 each = $34,800.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
State employees will be much more productive working at work stations rather than on card tables or the floor. This is a critical need for this state office.

More productive workers and more efficient office to serve the public.
