Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Funding is requested to devolp properties known as the Werner-Boyce Gulf Coast Perseve, the Berkowitz Tract and the Pines Tract in Pasco County (3,394 acres), contingent upon the transfer of these lands from Pasco County. Items include two starter kits ($80,000), Canoe Launch ($25,000), one mile of stabilzed road ($106,000) three mile of fencing ($40,000), standard modualr reanger residence and sewage hook-up ($130,000) maintenance facilities ($165,000) and contingency costs ($50,000)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

The quality of life for the public is improved by providing them with new recreational facilities. Recreational facilities provide better access to natural resources and increase recreational opportunities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

1. Provides for a 1.3% annual increase in attendance at state parks.
