The immeadiate benifits are that the youth remain in school and learn the skills required to become productive citizens. When the cause is addressed and strategies are employed to reduce risk factors, the likelyhood of juvenile crime is avoided. The long term benefit is an educated workforce ready to contribute to the state. If Juvenile Crime is avoided, future costs of additional prevention or detention will be saved. |
