Project Description: |

The Florida Holocaust Museum proposes to provide tolerance programs to all counties in Florida. This program will coordinate with all county sheriff departments and local courts that provide Juvenile Boot Camps, Juvenile Detention Centers, which address cultural diversity, hate crimes and racial tolerance. The Florida Holocaust Museum is already working with the Hillsborough and Pinellas County Court Systems to assist in providing tolerance training to selected juvenile offenders. It has been very successful. The Florida Tolerance Institute will take that program of tolerance and diversity statewide to other counties in need and provide teachers, materials, programs and general support as needed throughout the state. |
