The Chairs-Capitola Community Park is part of the Leon County parks development plan for active recreational facilities. The park will include two soccer fields, two little league baseball fields, a community center, tennis courts, basketball courts, restrooms and other auxiliary features. |

Development of needed recreational facilities. Benefits to the citizens of Leon County are numerous and far reaching, such as health benefits and planned sports activities that decrease juvenile delinquency. As noted in Florida's statewide Comprenensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (1994), State government must assume responsibility for promotion and coordination of all outdoor recreation efforts beneficial to the general public. |
