Project Description:
EIP uses a multidisciplinary evaluation team to provide screenings of infants at risk for developmental delay making recommendations for appropriate intervention services. The needs of this program are rapidly outweighing its resources.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Early identification and treatment for infants in their most developmental stage, ensuring that each child is given proper care in order to maximize their developmental potential.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Savings in retro-active healthcare and education for children with developmental delays.
