||
The proposed project consists of construction of new exfiltration drains, connections to existing drainage facilities, and the replacement of ineffective or antiquated drains. A connection to the SW 8th Street Draineage System is also proposed. |

This project will provide much needed restoration to the City by reducing the infiltration inflow to the gravity sewers now regulated by a USEPA consent decree abd FDEP consent agreement to reduce wastewater system flooding and alleviate loading to treatment plants. |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |

||||
The goal of this project is to reduce the flooding of several benefiting basins by at least 50% as well as prevent flood waters from entering homes and causing damage to public and private property and to reduce the amount of flood water that comes in contact with sanitary water. |
