Project Description:
Purchase & restoration of new building in order to relocate the Thrift Store, Administrative Offices & develop a community center all to benefit adults with Developmental Disabilities
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
By providing more intense training & rehabilitation programs (via Thrift & Community Center) HDC is able to "graduate" students into the community more rapidly with community employment, thus decreasing the overall long term costs of their treatment which is currently paid for by the state.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase in Administrative efficiency, higher Thrift Store Sales, quality management of donations.
