This is a capital project for the creation of a youth and family center in a low-income community. This is a community non-profit holistic approach to solving youth and family problems. Expected outcomes include: improved academic performance; improved self esteem; reduction in number of youths entering the juvenile justice system; reductions in truancy and suspension from school; reduction in number of unemployed and welfare-dependent persons. |
