Funds would be used to build a 105 x 250 foot rodeo arena. The arena would be built adjacent to the softball field so that the exisiting restroom facilities would serve both the arena and the softball field. |

In small rural county many of the youth participate in the FFA and 4-H groups. Rodeos play an important part in these small counties and many of the youth and their families participate. The youth of Lafayette County are very active in riding and rodeo events and have attracted attention through out the state of Florida. |

Drug and crime prevention. In Lafayette county there is very little for the youth to participate in except rodeos and sports;the town of Mayo does not even have a movie theater. It is important that some form of activities be provided for the youth. |
