Lynn Haven library currently has an out of date computer/cataloging system that cannot be hooked to the world wide web and is not fully year 2000 compliant. The computer software and hardware proposed via this budget request will provide a year 2000 compatible integrated computer system that is designed for internet linking with other libraries and individual users. |

The proposed system would allow linking Lynn Haven library to the Bay County Library system and allow other libraries and individuals to access its collection via the internet. This will improve the research and information capabilities of the community along with efficiencies of the library staff. Linking libraries and individuals via the internet, would provide a major increase in productivity for research and education. |
