Project Description:
To fully fund a review team to identify local factors related to mortality, heighton ocal awareness of those factors and mobilize communities to ameliorate factors in florid's high child death rate.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Between 1994 and 1998, a total of 14,209 infants and children from birth up to 19 years of age died suddenly in Florida, half being less than one year old. A review team should be formed to establish the cause of this high death rate.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Effective prevention of the needless deaths of our children.
