Family Resources, Inc. requests the appropriation of $250,000 in one-time capital funds for renovation of a 16-bed facility. This funding will increase capacity to a 24-bed facility. This facility is located in Pinellas County in Juvenile Justice District V and will continue to operate as a runaway/youth crisis shelter and staff secure shelter. |

|
Prevention and early intervention services target youth who are: (1) habitually truant from school; (2) have run away from home or been locked out of their homes; (3) considered "out of control" by their parents or guardians; (4) exhibit chronic behaviors that require staff-secure services. |
