The Florida Holocaust Museum proposes to provide educational programs through TECHNOLOGY services at the Museum site in St. Petersburg. Children who visit the museum may interact with computer screens which will provide not only a research tool for school projects, but a guide to Holocaust Studies throughout the Internet.  This lab room will be constructed for access by students - 7 days per week with lab staff provided to assist in technology or research skills needs.  Additional programs will include a Diary Writing CD Rom which coinsides with the International Anne Frank Exhibit partially funded throught the Dept. of Community Affairs in FY 1999/2000. Lab top computers will be purchased and provided to students on loan out for reserach purposes for school and enrichment programs.  Programs in art, history, political science, literature and technology will be scheduled to coinside with lab room programs for youth.  A spanish speaking/interactive CD Rom will be developed by the Museum in cojunction with USF in the teacher based curiculum for the spanish speaking population of Florida.  The Anne Frank Exhibit was commissioned by the Museum to include spanis text panels in all parts of the exhibit to be able to appeal to a broader base of the Florida population.
