Project Description:
To provides innovative educational learning for children in their formative years, ages 0-5 years, for low-income families and prepare the family as a whole. Quality early childhood education and intervention provides an avenue for students to become better students and valuable and productive citizens in the future. Our program makes us distinct because we focus on the whole family.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
The highest quality education for children ages 0 to 5 years that come from low income families. The whole family will receive psycho / social services. These services will assist families become self-sufficient and reduce the state?s expense to support these families. Our partnership with the Hillsborough County Adult Education Department allows our parents to receive quality education in the areas of A.B.E, G.E.D., E.S.O.L., and parenting classes
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Children will be school ready when they begin Kindergarten. Children will be in the top 25 percentile. Families will be helped to gain self-sufficiency, through training, psycho/social services, health services, parenting skills, life skills, and workforce development.
