Eye Screening of children and the elderly for the prevention of eye disease and the correction of vision.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Vison testing for children and the elderly and testing for eye disease. Early detection can prevent blindness and learning disabilities, personality and adjustment in school. Blindness in the elderly.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Corrected vision problems in children and glaucoma detection in the elderly ultimately reduces the cost of long term cost.
