Project Description:
This project funding will complete the chainlink fencing surrounding the ballfield, walking/jogging trail, 2-dugouts, and provide equipment for the playground such as teeter totter and finish/add nozzles and the timer for the fountain. It will also cover the 2-bleachers, add security lighting, tennis court lighting and landscaping needs.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
(This project is in the Governor's designated Area of Economic Critical Concern) This will complete the Town of Greenwood's only park. It will provide the township with recreational facilities such as tennis courts and ballfields, a playground and jogging trail.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Provide the Township of Greenwood with a completed park where the residents can enjoy recreational facilities.
