Project Description:
This park was on the verge of non-existence. Since renovations have begun, we have experienced a significant increase in use. Not just by the local neighborhood in which it is located, but by other areas of the community as well. All ages have come b ack to this beautiful area and the neighborhood had adjusted to the increase of activity without incident. There has been a renewed sense of pride within this neighborhood once again. With the last of the obsolete playground equipment removed and new, safer equipment installed, and the installation of the handball court, it will only continue to increase the activity. With the installation of the restroom on the upper level of the park, activity will be better distributed throughout the park and the residents will be able to utilize all the activities on both levels without inconvenience. Build one new handball court, renovate and install new playground equipment, install a new bathroom facility, paving and 3 new bleachers.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
To increase the use of a local neighborhood park by providing new playground equipment, a handball court, a new restroom facility and new bleachers.

Provide recreational facilities not just to the local neighborhood, but to the entire community we live in.
