Project Description:
There are children who do not have the resources to achieve an educational environment which is intended to provide adequate skills and knowledge to develop their full potential. Team recreational exposure is fundamental in becoming a well-rounded individual. By increasing the existing facilities, not only can we accomodate our local citizenry, we will have facilities capable of holding larger tournaments, hence drawing more visitors to our area. The MERE is a combined effort between the City and the County and local and civic clubs to ensure that all the surrounding communities have access to the recreational opportunities provided. This also creates a broader range of input, as to the wants and needs of our entire community. This funding will provide for4 2-new TBall/Coach Pitch Ball Fields, 4-new Goal Post Padding, fencing around warm-up areas, and roof over the batting cage.

(This project is in the Governor's designated Area of Economic Critical Concern) Provide for an educational environment for the citizenry and others to have access to obtain the knowledge and skills needed to develop their full potential.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
2-new TBall/Coach Pitch Ball Fields, fencing around the warm-up areas, and a roof over the batting cage for safety measures.
