Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To award an annual appropriation of $250,000 to each of the four not-for-profit College Bowl Organizations in the State of Florida.  In any year where any Bowl hosts a National Championship game, then such year the legislature would be awarding $1,000,000 to that not-for-profit Bowl organization.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

Significant economic impact through a dramatic increase in out-of-state tourism, increase in both national and international media exposure and enhancement of the area's positive image.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

The outcome that can be anticipated from the services provided are increased state dollars, and increase in hotel room occupancy and an  increase in employment.
