Project Description:
Develope incentives for school improvement by doubling the number of project CHILD class rooms throughout the state. Funds will extend contracts for experienced CHILD teachers to create instructional materials for learning station activities. Funds will also continue research for adapting materials for at-risk middle school students.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Project CHILD is a state-funded program that has has a significant impact on improving student learning in reading, writting, and math matics in grades K-5. This project will double the impact to reach over 18,000 additional students.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Improved test scores for reeading, writting, and mathematics.
