Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A mini medical education experience designed to motivate disadvantaged/minority students to pursue careers in the health professions and become competitive applicants, especially for medicine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

Assists Florida medical schools to move closer to proportioal enrollment under-represented mnorities by increasing the pool of qualified applicants.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

90% of participants will pursue admission to health professions schools, 50% will apply to0 and be accepted by medical schools.
