Project Description:
Replace the current sexually transmitted disease & TB clinic with a larger facility that meets ADA,OSHA & fire safety. Planning for the new faacility was completed by a $250,000 legislative appropriation. This project includes public health services not currently provided in this location.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Basic and preventive health care in a low income community that has little access to care.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
decreased TB & STD rates in the community. Increased immunizations rates. Increased access to low income minorities.
