Project Description:
Provide two forest management positions for Cecil Field Commerce Center: one senior forester and one forester.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Multiple-use management of 14,000 acres of public lands that include timber production, recreation, wildlife, and soil and water.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Annual revenue from timber sales, prescribed burn 3,200 acres per year. Reforestation on 3,000 acres damaged by 1998 wildfires.
