Project Description:
Construction of three new water wells, tank and pump stations to provide new source of water for city water system. This improvement project will provide environmental protection to the Area of Critical State Concern in Franklin County.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Replace existing water source which is not within FDEP water system standards. These improvements are being required by FDEP. Apalachicola is an Area of Critical State Concern.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Water production will now be within state water quality standards.
