Resident Meeting Hall/Emergency Management Shelter
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Location for town meetings (no current structure will hold more than 190 people). Wildwood is a major destination for storm evacuations from coastal Florida. Insufficient space exists for these people and local residents when storms move inland
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Documented increase in meeting hall activity. Increased evacuee-ready emergency shelter space available for tropical storms; hurricanes
