Project Description:
Installation of two sediment and debris separators and the purchase of a brush street sweeper.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
The two sediment and debris separators would allow for the removal of debris and pollutants that would otherwise flow directly into Lake Conway. A vacuum type sweeper is needed to remove the debris, leaves and the minute fines that accumulate on the roads and is washed into the discharge pipes (through the separators) during the first half inch of rain collected by the drainage system.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Cleaner water in Lake Conway by improving the quality of the storm water discharged into the lake.
