An early truancy prevention program based on the Bush/Brogan A+ Education Plan to reduce truancy and enhance school performance and improve student learning by increasing protective factors. Project objectives are: To identify youth who have missed up to five days of school without an excuse for one calendar month; Law enforcement and educators will communicate to students and parents that there is a zero tolerance for truancy, and a legal requirement for students to be in school; 100% of students participating in truancy prevention programs will be assessed and receive educational instruction.  The program will provide all program students with a least ten positive role models, during the project period.
