Project Description:
Replication of a proven research-based model providing long term residential substance abuse treatment and mental health services for women while simultaneously delivering therapeutic developmental prevention services for their children at a facility in Manatee County.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Provide vital services to mothers and children. These human efforts and social activism serves not only the people they treat but also all Floridians.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
By targeting two special populations outlined in the Florida Drug Control Strategy 1999 (pregnant women and parents putting children at risk and individuals with co-occurring disorders), PAR Village replication will achieve the goals, objectives and performance measures outlined.
