Project Description:
New 9450 square foot Senior Center-kitchen, cafetorium, activity rooms, and administative offices.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Preparation and service of in-home and congregate meals, programs and classes for senior citizens, legal counseling, eye exams, basic medical screening, literacy and nutritional training, respite care, exercise and social activities.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase senior citizen participation in daily activities and meal service. This participation will provide a means for more seniors in this rural community to age in place.
