Project Description:
A "Just-in-Time", business friendly training program which includes recruitment, screening, placement, and training for the unemployed and underemployed.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
The pilot program will accomplish the following: increase the hourly wages and benefits of the underemployed, provide a pool of trained workers at little or no cost (greatly assisting small and medium sized business/industry), and enhance economic development.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase in hourly wages and benefits for the working poor and increased growth for small and medium sized businesses.
