Services Provided/Benefit to State: |
The residents of Hendry County will gain a more efficient system that will not only save lives but improve response time by local emergency care providers. Hendry County, currently at a $10.00 millage rate, is one of the last counties in our state to convent to an expanded 911 system. These funds will allow the state to accomplish its goal of having statewide enhanced 911 services. |
