Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Henry and Rilla White Foundation proposes to provide intensive family-based reunification services to the parents and children involved in Escambia County's Family-Focused Parent Drug Court.  The Foundation will provide a team of three Family Intervention Specialists to assist both the parent and the child during the transition from separation to reunification.  The Family Intervention Specialists will be assigned to the family during the final stages of the drug court program, after the parent has achieved at least 5 months of sobriety and prior to reunification

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

The Foundation will provide intensive in-home services and interventions, including support and oversight for the family and child.  Treatment interventions will address the relationship dysfunction caused by the substance abuse and separartion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Reduction of child abuse and neglesct during the reunification periods; safe and nurturing family-satting for the child at the time of reunification; reducttion of detrimental family dysfunction caused by substance abuse and separation; and reduction of relapse caused by the stresses of reunification and family dysfunction.
