Central Florida Health Care, Inc (CFHC) seeks a one-time request for $200,000 to support a recent move from a grossly inadequate rear of an old hospital to a small location in Wauchula in Hardee County.  The funds will be used to : 1. redesign operations to become more efficient and productive in the new center, 2. add three rooms & a small dental laboratory, and 3. purchase new dental equipment.

CFHS is an active community partner, networking with other area providers, hospitals and county health departments.  Participation in MediPass, the state's primary program and also contract with numerous health maintenance organizations.  In short, CFHS is a partner working throughout to improve the quality of life for the families who live in the communities we serve across the state.

Central Florida Health Care, Inc (CFHC) is one of 27 private, not-for-profit healthcare corporations spanning across Florida.  For over 27 years, out centers in Polk (1972), Hardee (1975), and Highlands (1980) counties have provided a medical & dental home to thousands of patients.  CFHS is a community based health care corporation of, by and for the community governed by a 14 member coummunity board.  Our centers are extremely effective in teaching our patients to end their reliance on emergency rooms and to use preventive care services--the true mission of a managed care system.
