Project Description:
The funds for this request will purchase and renovate property to provide 12 to 18 bed housing for various individuals (homeless, those leaving the criminal justice system, and those completing drug/alcohol rehab) in a transitional setting. The transitional housing will last from between 3 and 9 months per individual.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Since the ongoing costs of operating this program will be borne by the private sector, grants and donations it is anticipated that individuals served will not require direct state assistance.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
It is anticipated that up to 50 individuals will be served per year in this program.
